I have been learning Finnish for awhile now here in the USA, with plans to eventually move to Finland in the future. My teenager also wants to go to university there, and he will need to pass the YKI-testii as well for his healthcare degree. This guide booklet was really useful in helping me get a sense of what the exam might be like -- by literally helping me to create a picture in my mind of what that day might look like -- and it was full of great information and tips for how to prepare. There were lots of links to many online resources, both free and low cost. It's going to be a few years longer before I am ready to go take the YKI-testii, but at least right now I have a more concrete picture in my mind of what will be expected of me, and can approach the rest of my learning with that guiding and motivating me.
